On their last road trip before they are sent to Vietnam two bothers and their girlfriends they stop in a small town dying from people leaving to find work. On their way through the town they come across Thomas Hewit a deformed mentally insane man who kills his boss when the place he works in goes out of business. When the sheriff goes to the Hewit family residence Thomas stepfather kills him and feeds him to the family. Thus begins the birth of one of the most murderous families in history.I may watch a lot of horror movies but this one i found alright. It had good acting and special effects but they went overboard with the gore and violence although they did need to do that to give an accurate representation the the Hewit family. This movie could be better if it had a better plot and if they didn't rely so much on gore and shock. I give this movie 3 out of 5 blood stains. Al;so i don't recommend this for people with weak stomachs.
